Teetz also summed it up nicely when he sent me a text after the game today:

No, we were not 'throttled' as I predicted last week after we scraped by Iowa State in a double overtime nail-biter, but yes, we lost. Drake says I have been hatin' on Nebraska all week, but in all honesty I have simply been a realist. I knew it was not completely far out there to say we may lose this game. I am pleased that we played fairly well all things considered, though I don't think anything will erase the memory of last year's 70-10 ass-raping Texas Tech gave us down in Lubbock. I have never before heard the fans at Memorial Stadium silenced so quickly as when Tech scored on their final drive. Wow. It was just, wow. I'm kind of bummed my last Homecoming game went down like this, but still, I am fairly apathetic to the Huskers right now. We had three opportunities to take the win and didn't close it, so we have no one to blame but ourselves. Bill Callahan is still a douche and his Red Zone play-calling is highly questionable most of the time, so when he went into the locker room after the game, he sure as hell had better have taken as much of the blame on himself as I am sure he dished out to the players.
But alas, as I said I am fairly apathetic to the team right now, so whatever. I have a ticket to Oklahoma and that's cool. I think we can beat them, but hey, we'll see.
